I had a head shot session with actor & musician, Brittany. She has some important auditions coming up and needed some great head shots. She did a great job and gave me some great looks. I’ll share some more later, but here’s a quick sample.

I’ve been meaning to post this photo for a while, but just haven’t had the time. I had a family portrait session for a client that was vacationing at the Ritz Carlton Resort on Amelia Island. It was a morning shoot, so I figured I’d take my family with me and we could kick around Fernandina for the day. After having lunch and doing a bit of window shopping, we headed home. My wife said she wanted to stop on the way home and get a family picture for the end of 2011. So, we pulled off the side of the road at Big Talbot Island and set up this shot. It’s always fun when you are putting your camera on a timer and running to get into the shot and it’s windy and your lights are wanting to blow over. ha! It was worth it, though.

April and Aaron’s Green Cove Springs Wedding

I met with April a couple of weeks ago to go over the final details of her wedding day. We met at her soon to be Mother-in-law’s house, where the wedding would be held. It was an unseasonably warm and gorgeous day. She kept saying, “I hope that the weather is this nice on my wedding day”. Well, it was nicer! Just absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony was held in Aaron’s Mom’s beautiful front yard and the late day golden sun was peeking through the trees. Then there was Banjo! The part Jack Russell, part Chihuahua, in a bow tie! Overall… a really great day full of love.

Saved By the Bell

So… some of us are old enough to remember the first mobile phones. Heck, some of us are old enough to remember the first car phones (ya’ know, the ones with the pack that’s in the trunk). Well, I was shooting a wedding tonight and the groom’s parents had all these old trinkets in their living room. One of the things… an old cell phone. They called it the “Saved By the Bell Phone”. Remember Zack Morris from Saved By the Bell? He had one of those old brick like phones. So, I had the groom pose with it. Pretty classic!

Samantha & David’s Alpine Grove Engagement Portraits

I had so much fun with Samantha and David on this shoot. They are both in the Navy and have great personalities. They seem perfectly made for each other. Samantha had me cracking up the whole evening with her very dry, sarcastic sense of humor. Her delivery is impeccable! I’m looking forward to shooting their wedding.
