Erika & Sean’s Jacksonville Wedding

Oh my gosh, we had such a great time at Erika and Seans’s wedding. Some weddings just surprise you with so much love and emotion. This was one of those weddings. We especially loved it when all the kids were sliding on their knees on the dance floor and then… the adults joined in! You should have heard all the creaking noises from those knees! Ha! Big congratulations to Sean & Erika.

Great photos! Beautiful capture. Those kids holding the high-end cameras makes me a little anxious though :)

Love the shot of the kids on the dance floor, and “bigger kids” on the dance floor are twice as funny when they’ve had a drink.

Chris and Grace’s Jacksonville Wedding

I knew Chris and Grace’s Jacksonville wedding was going to be epic from the second that I heard the pre-service music being played on the piano. Coldplay, Oasis, Ben Folds, etc. And get this… Grace came down the aisle to Smashing Pumpkins! Coolest wedding music EVER! The whole evening was fantastic. Chris and the boys “Tebow’d” in the garden at the Cummer Museum and Gardens. Then, later in the evening, we got a surprise visit from… wait for it… The Krispy Kreme guy. That was a first for me and I shoot a lot of weddings. He was a total hit. Piles of doughnuts and Krispy Kreme hats for everyone. It was a great day!

Rekha & Aman’s Ponte Vedra Beach Engagement Portraits

I met up with Rekha & Aman at Rekha’s uncle’s house on the beach in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It was a mid afternoon shoot, which means it was super bright. They are a fun couple, so I had a great time photographing them and hanging out. I’m looking forward to shooting their Indian wedding ceremony.

Super bright…mmm, we don’t get days like that in the UK! Photos look great, a lovely pre-shoot in the surf. Great work.

So pretty, wish I was there right now.

Great set, just amazing!

I know exactly where that’s at. In Florida us photographers usually can’t wait to yell “CLOUD” to get some needed even light.

Rekha & Aman’s Ponte Vendra Engagement Session (sneak peek)

It was a bright sunny day at the beach for my shoot with Rekha & Aman. I thought this was a great image to sum up the vibe of the day.

Looks cute! Wish I were on a beach like that right about now!

Brittany & Korey’s St. Augustine Engagement

My shoot with Brittany and Korey was turning into one of those shoots that you think may never happen. Where every time you try to schedule the shoot weather gets in the way. We had rescheduled a couple of times and then we had tropical storm Beryl come through. Had to move it one more day. Then, I woke up the morning of the shoot and checked the forecast. 90% chance of rain. I thought we were never going to get a break. But… then the clouds started to go away and I checked the forecast as we got closer to our scheduled time… 30% chance! yay! So, we meet up in St. Augustine. But as I was pulling up to our meeting spot, I see deep dark clouds approaching quickly. They arrived and I said, “we have to work fast”, and we did. It started sprinkling about 20 minutes into our shoot. Then the thunder and lightening started. We pushed as as long as we could and we got the shots done. It was fun hanging out with Brittany and Korey and they were good sports getting rained on during our shoot. Crazy Florida weather. Here are some highlights:

Woah that wall looks really cool!

Becky MaleJuly 17, 2012 - 8:24 am

I love how you’ve made use of the plaster coming off the wall and positioned them in front of this, great eye to spot that. A cute couple, I bet they love these.
