Petey & Farra’s Ponte Vedra Wedding

A wedding day is always stressful. Petey & Farra’s was no exception. There are a lot of moving parts and a lot that can go wrong. Petey and Farra chose to see each other before the ceremony. It’s what we call a “First Look”. Upstairs in the bridal room, Farra was stressed. I can see it on her face and I could hear it in her voice. I leaned over to her and gently said, “Are you ready to see Petey?” With a look of relief she said, “Yes”. I went and got Petey ready for the first look. Here’s my biggest memory from Petey & Farra’s wedding day. It wasn’t the first kiss, or the first dance, or the ice cream bar. It was seeing Farra go from total stress to complete peace during their first look when Petey took her into his arms. At the point, they were a team and nothing else mattered. It was an amazing wedding and a whole lot of fun. Congratulations Petey & Farra!

Katrina & Kyle’s Jacksonville Wedding

It was a beautiful day for a wedding, framed by thunderstorms before and after. But during Katrina and Kyle’s wedding, it was perfection! I had such a good time watching Kyle peek over at Katrina. He couldn’t keep his eyes off her during the Catholic Mass! Then, I’d catch Katrina smiling back at Kyle. True love! The party was amazing and everything looked beautiful. Big congratulations to Katrina & Kyle!

AJ & Abby Get Married

There are few things in my vocation as a photographer that beats photographing good friends on their wedding day. There was so much love surrounding AJ & Abby on their wedding day. So much joy! I was so excited for them. Congratulations AJ & Abby!!!

I had to include the above picture of my girls. The blondie is my daughter. The gorgeous lady in the middle is my wife. Lizzie (on the right) isn’t one of my girls… but close enough. We think of her as one of the family.

Erika & Sean’s Jacksonville Wedding

Oh my gosh, we had such a great time at Erika and Seans’s wedding. Some weddings just surprise you with so much love and emotion. This was one of those weddings. We especially loved it when all the kids were sliding on their knees on the dance floor and then… the adults joined in! You should have heard all the creaking noises from those knees! Ha! Big congratulations to Sean & Erika.

Lisa and Jamison’s Memorial Park Wedding

There’s nothing like a bit of improvisation on a wedding day! Lisa and Jamison just wanted to have a simple wedding in one of their favorite spots in Jacksonville, Florida. The decided to have their wedding by the river, under a beautiful old oak tree in Memorial Park. The catch is, you can’t really reserve the park for weddings. So, they came prepared with a cooler full of beer to bribe the fishermen away from the spot that wanted for their ceremony. Fortunately, everyone was really nice and cleared a spot for the couple. After they tied the knot, we wandered around the park to get some photos with all the spring color. It was a beautiful day and Lisa and Jamison looked great. Oh… and then there was “Counselor”, their horse… I mean dog.
