So, just to make sure we stay on schedule I always ask my portrait photography clients, “Did you bring any other outfits?” When LJ responded, “We brought superman shirts and capes”, I knew it was going to be a fun shoot!

Erika & Sean’s Jacksonville Wedding

Oh my gosh, we had such a great time at Erika and Seans’s wedding. Some weddings just surprise you with so much love and emotion. This was one of those weddings. We especially loved it when all the kids were sliding on their knees on the dance floor and then… the adults joined in! You should have heard all the creaking noises from those knees! Ha! Big congratulations to Sean & Erika.

Jacksonville Beach Family Portraits

I recently had the privilege to shoot my friend Chad’s family portrait. Chad is a fellow musician (a great bass player) and we used to play together at Church just about every Sunday. However, he’s been playing at a different campus (same church, different campus). So, when he contacted me to photograph his family, I was pretty excited. If for nothing else than to hang out for an hour or so! Their son is super cute and the weather (and light) was fantastic.

Kim & Micah’s Jacksonville Beach Engagement

Naturals! These guys are naturals in front of the camera. I had a lot of fun with Kim & Micah and am really looking forward to shooting their wedding. We met up at the Jacksonville Beach pier for the shoot. It was late in the afternoon and the weather was perfect. I think it was probably the last weekend of really comfortable temperatures.

So, I’m shooting away and behind me I hear “CRUNCH”. I turned around and some guy on a bike did a face plant in the beach. I didn’t see it and no I didn’t get a shot of it, but man… he hit the ground hard. He was OK. It’s always exciting on my photo shoots. ha! Other than that bit of excitement, we just had a fun and casual time making some photos. Oh… and Micah is nuts!
